Why do you need this information? We use this information to set up your trip and secure the necessary permits for you to travel to the Mentawai Islands.

What method of payments do you accept? We currently accept payments via wire transfer, credit card ( Master Card or Visa ), Transfer Wise app, USDT, or cash. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for detailed payment instructions.

How much do you require for a deposit? To confirm booking we require a 50% deposit of the total package price.

When is the final balance due? The balance of the total cost is to be paid no later than 90 days prior to your resort stay (or at a later date as agreed in writing between us and client). Failure by a client to pay the final payment balance by the due date will entitle Kandui Villas® to cancel the booking whereupon the deposit paid by the client shall be forfeited.

During your stay at Kandui Villas®, your home will be one of 12 luxury umas, all hand-built by Mentawai craftsman. Each uma offers all of the comforts, privacy, and serenity you could expect from a stay with us. All of our hardwood umas are hand carved with local animal and nature themes, have a large private tropical land scaped yard with Japanese grass and private beach access, ocean views, and are fully air-conditioned with mosquito nets, mini-bars, in-room safes, hot water, hair dryers and bathroom amenities.
Our standard packages are for 10 or 11 night stays, with convenient and fast direct transportation to and from our island, if you come on our set schedule. If your travel schedule does not allow you to travel on our set schedule, then off schedule visits of longer or shorter stays are possible, but may require higher transportation fees for, and you must pay for the entire 10 night or 11 night block/s which your off schedule trip intersects. It is a long journey to reach Kandui Villas®, but once you are here it is absolute paradise, and stays less than 10 nights are hardly enough time to rest from your travel, explore our island paradise, and surf all the perfect waves, indulging in everything Kandui Villas® has to offer and becoming a part of the Kandui Villas® family, which is why our standard packages are a minimum of 10 days.
Kandui Villas offers full service travel agent services to make your trip planning easier. We are happy to assist you in planning your complete itinerary from the time you leave home until you return home at the end of your trip, including any hotel reservations you may need along the way as well as airline ticketing services, both international and domestic. Welcome Drinks, 3 gourmet meals per day, drinks with meals, snacks in-between meals, hot drinks, Drinks & Snacks on the surf boats.

Unlimited High speed Internet access ( up to 150 Mbps Download/100 Mbps Upload) in your uma and around the entire resort grounds, including the entire length of the beach.

Speed Boat Transfers to either the over dozen waves surrounding our immediate island (Kandui Island Package), or to over 20 different Surf Breaks, including our immediate island and to the waves on the nearby surrounding islands (All Access Package extra $200 per hour for the entire boat. The cost of the boat is to be shared and split evenly by all guests on the boat and is only charged while the boat is running, but not while it is at anchor when the guests are surfing).
