Our resort sits in the middle of the Playgrounds area, directly in front of the legendary Kandui Left and Baby Kandui, with dozens of other world-class waves just 5–30 minutes away by boat.
We run a fleet of 3 large speedboats and 4 dinghies, launched from four docks around the resort. Three are tucked into our sheltered mangrove lagoon for easy access, while the fourth is a front-beach jetty perfectly placed between Kandui Left and Baby Kandui. Wherever the swell is hitting, you’re never far from the lineup.
Our longboats are 45–50 feet long and five to six feet wide, built tough to cut through chop and deliver a smooth, stable ride in all conditions. Powered by big engines that push 20+ knots, they’re fast, safe, and reliable. Each is outfitted with padded seating, shade canopies, and full safety gear — including life jackets, flares, GPS, and a satellite phone in a Pelican case. For comfort, every boat carries a fresh water dispenser, cooler, and snacks.

With dinghies ready at a moment’s notice, you can hit the dozen waves right off our island anytime, while the speedboats open up the surrounding breaks. And if your session runs long, no problem — just order meals over the boat radio and we’ll deliver them directly to the lineup. No other resort in the Mentawais offers this kind of service.
